If you have purchased a renewing account with Octanews and you ever find that the service is not what you expected, please send us an email and let us know you would like to cancel your account. We will credit you back a prorated amount.
Accounts originally purchased with 6 month renewing cycle can not be refunded a prorated amount after 120 days because of the refund policies imposed by the credit card processing gateway.
Octanews sells services via 2 methods, a subscription service with varying prices for different levels of service, and a 'block' service where you purchase the amount you want to download in non-expiring blocks.
These 'blocks' are not refundable, so please only purchase what you use.
Charges for services purchased from Octanews will appear on your statement as Octanews.
In the case of a block account, only article bodies count towards your download limit; header downloads, XOVER retrievals and the like do not count towards your download limit.
